Private Pilates Classes

During a Private Pilates Class, you get to work with an instructor on a one -on-one basis.
​
Working in a Private Pilates class will help you get the basics of core and body mechanics right and will inevitably prevent future injury.
​
Private Pilates classes are ideal for clients with a specific injury or a very new injury and who are fresh out of the rehab process from a physiotherapist or Biokineticist.
​
Duration: 60 minutes
Price: R350/person/session

Most of our clients do one to three sessions every week.
Duet Pilates Classes

Training with a partner can be a great motivator and lots of fun! Working in a duet class you will have access to specialized equipment like the Reformer, Cadillac and Wunda chair.
​
We also classify it as a semi-private class, and thus ideal for beginners or clients with specific needs.
​
Ideal for you if you might be finishing up an end phase rehab programme and due to the strength you have gained, you need less one-on-one attention.
​
Duration: 50 minutes
Price: R220/person/session
Couples special and Mother/Daughter specials available.
Trio Pilates Classes

Training with 2 friends can be great fun. You get to motivate each other and keep each other accountable.

Our Trio classes are ideal for beginners!
​
With your group being quite small, the instructor can still see to any special needs that you might have.​
​
You will have access to specialised equipment like the Reformer, Wunda chair, and spine corrector (Pilates Arc).
​

Group Pilates Classes

Our studio can take 8 to 10 clients in our group classes - so be prepared for a lot of energy and challenges.
​
Our instructors are trained to think out of the box and guarantee a fun, tough and challenging workout that will get the heart pumping and the abs and glutes burning!
​
The various mat equipment such as the Pilates ball, foamroller, soft ball, rings and the glute burner tone loop will be incorporated!
​
This class is ideal for the most experienced client (or someone with at least 3 months pilates experience and no serious injuries).
​
Duration: 50 minutes
Price: 1x/week: R140/session or R520 monthly (4 sessions)
2x/week: R130/session or R950 monthly (8 sessions)
3x/week: R115/session or R1350 monthly (13+ sessions)

Rehabilitative Pilates

Rehabilitative Pilates is a passion of ours and we aim to keep ourselves well informed and up to date with the knowledge of anatomy and the rehabilitation of injuries.
​
We work closely with Physiotherapists and Biokineticists to ensure that you get the basics of core and body mechanics to support current physiological healing and to prevent further injuries.
​
Our private classes are ideal for clients with serious injuries or needs. During your Body Assessment we will make sure to get all the information regarding your injuries as well as get in contact with your Physio or Bio who did your rehab to ensure that you receive a safe and well-prepared rehabilitation programme.
MAP Classes

MAP is Movement Maintenance. MAP = Mio-Fascial Activated Posture.

MAP Movement fills the gap between movement as we know it and movement as we want it to be. It's movement maintenance / movement therapy. We focus on diaphragmatic breathing to get your autonomic nervous system in a state of rest and digest and we hydrate your fascial suit (connective tissue in your body = 20% of what you consist of), using foam rollers and massage balls.
MAP creates space in your body so that you can move into that space with power! The emphasis is on movement and not on manual therapy techniques. We focus on creating movement in the different fascial lines (in your body) and breathing techniques to create natural flowing movement.
Just like you service your car regularly, your body also needs maintenance. Come and take the chair out of your posture. Let's transition you from FEAR of movement into FREEDOM of movement!!!

Preggie Pilates

Pilates is an ideal form of exercise to carry you through your pregnancy. It is safe, gentle and client specific. Therefore you never need to worry or feel unsure.

Pilates focuses on countering the typical “Preggie posture” that wants to set in. As the belly grows, the weight of the tummy pulls the lower back into an arch and the upper back starts to slouch forward. Pilates works to counter this posture and the injuries that comes with it. It also helps with fatigue, tiredness, blood flow and just overall physical and emotional wellbeing.
Doing Pilates throughout your pregnancy will make you feel strong and will also boost your confidence.
Body Assessment

To determine your client-specific programme, a thorough Body Assessment can be booked. This consists of a Posture Analysis and Body Testing.

The Posture Analysis involves looking at the body from head to toe, to determine the type of posture.
​
The Body Testing entails a range of exercises and stretches to fully determine the client's strength and flexibility as well as the compensations that the client will make.
​
Each client has a different posture and body type as well as level of strength and flexibility. Thus each client needs a specific programme to meet their specific needs. At Pilates Co. it is important to us that every class meets the client's expectations and training needs.
